My name is Jane, and I’m in my mid 40s, so the fine lines and wrinkles that are expected in middle age have been with me for a few years, unfortunately. I have always been skeptical about whatever I use on my skin, but when I saw Athena 7 Minute Lift advertised, I was impressed with the list of all natural ingredients. I was sure it would work well for me and possibly turn out to be my anti wrinkle cream of choice.
With the first few applications, I thought that it must be one of the best creams around. It faded my wrinkles within minutes, making my skin appear smooth and soft. I was very impressed. We were on our way out to a dinner meeting in a neighboring city in Michigan, when my husband made the comment that I looked like my age was reversing, and this was only the third day I was using this wrinkle cream. I was thrilled.
Then, after using it for almost a week, I noticed that my skin was becoming flaky. As a matter of fact, it appeared that I now had an eczema-like rash on my face. It was blotchy, red, and very itchy. I was really beginning to panic the next morning when my face was so dry that it hurt. I didn’t know what had happened to make my face appear so dry, and I was nervous about it being permanent.
The only thing I had tried that was new was the Athena 7 Minute Lift. I called my doctor to see about getting some cream for my dried out face and told her what I had been using. She told me that there had been other women who had the same reaction to this particular choice of anti wrinkle creams and that if I wanted to use it for my wrinkles, I needed to get the dry skin under control first, and then continue to use a good moisturizer.
I decided that I would rather use something that is not a risk to my skin, so I have discontinued using it. Athena 7 Minute Lift left me high and dry, and I am not willing to take a chance with my face.
I am now using what my doctor suggested for my wrinkle problem, and it doesn’t affect my skin like my previous cream did.
