Causes

You’ve decided that you’re going to do everything you can to avoid getting lines on your face as you get older. You get sleep the way that you’re supposed to, getting at least 8 hours a day, and you work on eating the right foods. You even moisturize your face with some of the best moisturizers on the market. This means that you’ll never have to worry about getting lines on your face, right? Not necessarily.

Complicated System

The skin is not something that is uncomplicated – actually it is a very complicated system. There is a lot of work that your body does in order to keep the skin healthy, and because it is a very important part of the system, the body actually puts tons of energy towards the skin. Most people know that the body is made up of a great deal of water, but they don’t know that a lot of that water goes right to the skin. The skin needs to have water in order to be healthy. It is the water that helps the skin to grow back whenever dead cells fall off, and it is water that allows skin to keep the elasticity that it normally has. If you’re looking to keep your skin healthy, one thing you need to remember is that having too little water is one of the main wrinkle causes there is.

Water and the Body

Think of water like a lubricant for the body. Water actually helps the body to do tons of things. It is how the body is able to function. It helps everything to work and is extremely important, and yet many people do not drink enough water to allow their body to function properly. Quite often people reach for the caffeinated drinks before they reach for any water. If you want to keep your skin in excellent condition, it is necessary for you to drink a good amount of water every day. While eight 8 oz bottles of water is ideal, it is often not possible for us to dink that many bottles of water right off. Try substituting two or three drinks that you have on a daily basis with water to begin with. This will help you to be able to slowly add more water into your diet, which can help your skin to remain looking luxurious and beautiful as you grow older.
