Eating Right

Many people out there think that expensive treatments and pricey wrinkle creams are the best way to go about having younger looking, wrinkle-free skin. While these are all great ways to make yourself look younger, wouldn’t it be nice if you never had to go that far in order to get beautiful, healthy, smooth skin? The answer is in your refrigerator, or even in your kitchen sink; that answer is water.

There has been some debate for quite a while now as to how effective water is when it comes to the world of wrinkle treatment. While some people out there discount the effects of water on the skin, research has shown that water is a great way to keep the skin supple and moist, and we all know that supple and moist skin is the most likely to be wrinkle free.

The skin is nothing but a large organ, and organs are made up of cells. Cells are almost all water, and when they stay nice and hydrated they are bound to perform better. When skin cells are performing at their best, they appear much better.

When the body doesn’t have enough water, it has numerous ways of showing it and dry skin and wrinkles are just a few of these ways. When skin is dry it is less resilient, making it that much more prone to wrinkles. By making water a regular part of your everyday life, you are setting yourself up for much healthier, smoother skin in the end.

It isn’t hard to get a whole lot of water into your diet as a treatment. Water gets into the body by accident through the foods that you eat, so if you have a fairly healthy intake of foods it is not difficult to go above and beyond that. When you have a meal, drink water instead of juice—at least one glass. When you exercise, be sure to take plenty of water along with you as that is time when the body is in need of it the most.

Experts recommend six to eight glasses of water a day. This is also a great way to help control your weight, as it takes up room in the stomach that might otherwise cause pangs of hunger.
People don’t realize how much the things they put into their body have an effect on the way that their body appears on the outside. Water is just one way of going about putting the right things into your body to make sure that your skin is as supple and healthy as you want it to be. People have been looking all over for the fountain of youth for years, and the fountain of youth may very well be in your kitchen. Anti wrinkle products aren’t always as hidden as you may think.

Keeping the body hydrated is a great way to go about lessening the chances of having to deal with wrinkles. Wrinkle treatments are a great way to keep the skin healthy and keep the moisture there, but clear skin starts on the inside.
