Looking for an anti wrinkle cream can be hard work, especially with so many products that claim to be the best and so many customer reviews that sound like they couldn’t possibly be real. How can you know what to believe? My name is Lucy, and I live in Wyoming.
Unfortunately I fell for one that made me break out in a rash, and the itch it caused was unbearable. I used Hydroderm, and now I am afraid to try anything on my face. The little red bubbles it left on my skin were similar to what poison ivy looks like but smaller. They even extended down my neck a little. Not only was it irritating and itchy, but it also made me want to hide from people.
That is what I hated most — the way I had to avoid going out in public for a couple of weeks. Anti wrinkle creams are fine for helping some people, but now I feel like there is no way I will trust another one for myself. Hydroderm claims to be healthy for most people to use, and they claim that their ingredients are safe and have virtually no side effects. However, it is difficult to find a complete list of the ingredients that are in it.
That should have been a good warning sign, but I took their word for it without checking it out all the way. Anti Aging cream, skin cream, facial cleanser, skin toner — all of these products should come with a real list of everything that is in them for anyone who is interested in the products to look at. If you are looking for anything for your skin, especially your face, which may be more sensitive than other areas of your body, then I would suggest that you don’t make the same mistake I did.
Also, if you use something that gives you a bad side effect, do what I did and stop using it. Call your doctor and ask what to do about it. My doctor told me to just use regular water to wash my face until the rash is gone, and he gave me a topical steroid to help clear it up. He also told me not to use anything else on my face without talking to him first, or I might have another bad reaction.
I can live without using any anti wrinkle creams, lotions, or toners. I can’t bear to live with pain, itching, irritation, or being ugly like Hydroderm made me.
